For you I’d catch each floating dream

and make them all come true,

then take a thread of Fortune’s gleam

to parcel them for you.

I’d steal the moonbeams from the skies,

collect the crystal dew

and twinkle starlight in your eyes

with love from me to you.

A golden ray of sun I’d seize

to shine on you each day,

and for your troubles, trap the breeze

to sweep them all away.

of treasures you’d accrue -
